Baby version of the ferry boss - and by 'baby' we mean 30,000 HP, deep in Sleepywood dungeon, and one of the classic sources of Silver Deputy Star. Popular grind target for level 50-70 parties because his drop table hits an era-appropriate sweet spot: potions, throwing stars, and occasional Dark Ades / Blue Ades gear.
How to find them
From Sleepywood town, take Route to Cursed Sanctuary. Walk east until you hit the deep interior maps - Jr. Balrog spawns in 'Cursed Sanctuary' proper. Respawns roughly every hour per channel, so if he's dead try channel-hopping. Free entry, no quest gate.

Duo or trio at level 55+; solo is possible for a Ranger with decent gear (Strafe from platform edge and kite the knockback). Watch the Silver Deputy Star drop rate - it's a low-single-digit chance but it's THE grind reason. Bring wizet mana pots for the long fight. Avoid the big body-attack windup - his slam animation telegraphs a huge damage tick.
