Jr. Balrog
sleepywood dungeon boss
The short version
Lv 80 with 325,400 HP and 2,188 EXP in the Classic World client - not the Lv 55, 30,000 HP boss of traditional MapleStory. He waits in The Cursed Sanctuary and is the hardest live boss on the roster by a wide margin.
How to find them
Spawns in The Cursed Sanctuary, deep in the Sleepywood dungeon. Respawn timing isn't in the client data.

Strategy notes
Treat him as a full-party fight near the level cap. He's immune to Poison and weak to Holy, with 972 attack and 1,069 magic attack. At 325,400 HP a party in the 70s or higher with healers is the realistic setup; under-leveled groups run out of potions first. Community-reported drops are modest so far: crafting catalysts, potions, Elixirs, and Hwabi Throwing Stars.
