The short version
The final stage of the Kerning City Party Quest ('First Time Together', Channels 3 - 12). Lv 32, 16,820 HP, and 2,400 EXP in the Classic World client. Beating him unlocks the clear.
How to find them
Complete KPQ stages 1-4 (trivia / ropes / cats-on-logs / barrels) with a party of 3-6 (levels 21-30). King Slime spawns in the Last Stage along with 6 Jr. Necki + 3 Curse Eye. Each mob drops 1 Pass; leader hands all 10 Passes to Cloto to clear. No solo access - PQ-only fight.

King Slime is strong against Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Holy, so elemental spells hit for reduced damage - Magic Claw (no element) and physical attacks are the reliable damage. Healers stay back. Per the MapleClassic Wiki he summons Slimes at half HP and splits into Slimes on death; clear the adds with area attacks so your healer isn't swamped.
