Old Raggedy Cape

Old Raggedy Cape is guaranteed from Jane Doe's Ghost Chain (step 2, Stranger's Identity). It's the first cape most players own - the cape slot is otherwise usually empty until much later in progression.

Stat analysis

• +12 Weapon Defense (PDD): solid mid- tier cape defense. Not going to survive endgame but good for L25-40 mob work.
• +5 Magic Defense (MDD): minor but universal.
• +1 Accuracy: uncommon on capes. Bowmen and Thieves appreciate.
• 5 upgrade slots: matches the standard cape scroll pool (Cape STR / DEX / INT / LUK Scrolls at L20+). Scroll for your primary stat and Old Raggedy Cape becomes a keeper through L40.

Who this is for

Everyone. Capes are universal-class equipment - Warriors, Bowmen, Magicians, Thieves can all wear them. The +1 ACC slightly favors physical classes but the +12 PDD is universally useful.

Narrative weight

The Cape is Jane Doe's actual hospital garment - the raggedy cape she died in at Niora Hospital. Wearing it is a small memento mori to her story. Classic World writers put real care into this reward.

Scrolling strategy

Cape STR Scroll (60% / +2 STR) is the standard Warrior/Bowman scroll. Cape LUK / DEX / INT variants exist for Thieves and Magicians. At 5 slots and 60% success, expect 2-3 successful scrolls per cape. Even +4-6 primary stat is meaningful at L25-30.
