The plainest possible 1H sword in the game. It exists to bridge the gap between "I just landed on Victoria Island with a beginner-tier weapon" and "I hit level 10 and did my Warrior advancement, now I can equip real gear." Nobody keeps this thing past level 15.
Historical trivia: this exact sprite appears in nearly every MapleStory promotional screenshot from 2003-2005. If you Google "MapleStory nostalgia" you're going to see it.
