Star Rock is a gem tier separate from Luke's 8-gem grab-bag. Where Luke's pool contains Diamond, Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Emerald, Opal, Sapphire, and Topaz (all conventional gems), Star Rock is called out in the datamine as possessing "mysterious power of a star" - poetic language usually reserved for legendary items.

4,000 mesos vendor price - substantially higher than conventional gems (which sit around 500-1,500 mesos vendor). This is a real crafting material, not a filler drop.

Where it comes from

  • Guaranteed: Sabitrama's Anti-Aging Medicine (10510). L25 Sleepywood quest. Sabitrama is Chrishrama's younger brother; he trades medicinal herbs and rare materials.
  • Mob drops: likely rare drop from high-tier Sleepywood mobs (Ligators, Sleepywood dungeon interior). Pending live verification.

Likely uses (informed speculation)

Since Sabitrama is Chrishrama's brother and Chrishrama practices Arcforging (confirmed = scroll crafting), Star Rock is almost certainly an Arcforging recipe input. Specifically:

  • High-tier scroll recipes. Star Rock's "mysterious power" description matches how Attack scrolls and Magic Attack scrolls affect equipment (+X power stat).
  • Enhancement scroll production. If Arcforging can produce Weapon Attack scrolls (Gloves Attack, Weapon Attack, etc.), Star Rock is likely a required exotic input beyond common gems.
