The short version
The Ellinia-Victoria ferry crashes roughly halfway through every ride and Crimson Balrog crashes the party. 50,000 HP, huge knockback, and only 5 minutes on the timer before the ship magically fixes itself and boots you off - so this is a race against the clock as much as against the boss.
How to find them
Board any Victoria Island to Ellinia (or reverse) ferry at Ellinia's Station or Victoria's Cargo Ship dock. Roughly 5 minutes into the trip the deck darkens and Crimson Balrog spawns. Free entry for anyone who paid the 1,000 meso fare. Runs every 15 minutes on both sides.

You will NOT solo this. Bring a full party of 6 level-40+ hitters. Ranged classes stay on the top platform (Ranger, Sniper, Bishop, Wizard) and pump Strafe or Ice Strike - Balrog's ceiling reach can't touch you up there. Warriors take the deck; Chief Bandits love it because so many mobs spawn alongside him. Kill the Cursed Balrog adds first, THEN focus fire the big guy. If the ship arrives before the fight ends, you get zero drops.
