Liven's take

Intermediate tier upgrade scroll. When applied to any Gloves slot item, rolls a 60% success chance; on success, adds +4 Magic Attack permanently to those gloves. On failure, the scroll is consumed and one of the gloves' upgrade slots is spent (with a small "boom" chance destroying the item outright).

Notice the +4, not +2. Unlike the Weapon Attack variant (which gives +2 WATT per success), the Magic Attack version gives +4 MATT. This is a systemic MapleStory pattern - Magic Attack scrolls historically give ~double the numeric bonus of Weapon Attack scrolls, because MATT scales differently in the damage formula.

How to acquire: the primary source is Rowen's Cursed Doll Chain tier 4 (150 Cursed Dolls) - drops one of these OR the Weapon Attack variant, randomly. Also sold in the Free Market when Warriors and Bowmen who wanted the WATT version dump the MATT rolls.

Who this is for: Magicians, specifically. Fire Arrow, Cold Beam, Thunder Bolt, Heal - every Magician damage skill scales off Magic Attack. Every +4 MATT from a scroll success is a meaningful uplift to per-hit damage across your entire kit.
