In-game text

Look for Jane in Lith Harbor. I met a girl wearing bunny ears named Jane in Lith Harbor. Jane said she wants to travel the world, but her dad won't let her. She thinks if she can prove she can handle Victoria's wildlife, her dad will change his mind. Bring her mushroom caps to help build her case.

Rewards

Liven's take

Jane and the Mushroom is the L20 Lith Harbor quest most players miss. Jane's an outlier - a bunny-eared teenager with wanderlust in a town otherwise full of sailors and fishermen. Her arc continues at L44 with Jane's Challenges.

The reward: massive random Intermediate Scroll pool

This is the FIRST 14-weapon Intermediate Attack Scroll pool in the game. Two later quests award the Greater version:

  • Jane at L20 (this): Intermediate pool (60% / +2 Attack / no destroy)
  • Welcome to the Hollow at L39: Greater pool (30% / +5 Attack / destroy on miss) - see the Hollow page for the full 14-weapon table
  • Blackbull + Ayan at L48: Greater pool again

Match-your-class strategy: if the roll matches your weapon, use it immediately - Intermediate scrolls are safe (no destroy). If it doesn't match, FM sell for 3,000-10,000 mesos.

The wandering-daughter narrative pattern

Jane's "dad won't let me travel" storyline is a recurring Classic World theme. Similar patterns:

Different family dynamics, same underlying "young woman navigating adult autonomy" theme. Classic World writers use this deliberately.

Where the mushroom caps come from

  • Orange Mushroom - Henesys south prairie
  • Blue Mushroom - Perion Rocky Mountains
  • Green Mushroom - Ellinia tree platforms
  • Horny Mushroom - Sleepywood dungeon approach

Cross-referenced with Maya's L30 Collections - identical mob pool. Save duplicate mushroom cap drops between the two quests.
