Steel Shield is the L15 Warrior shield upgrade over Wooden Buckler. +80 PDD is +10 over the buckler, and the STR requirement doubles (20 STR vs 10). Slots stay the same at 7, so scroll investment carries over.

The upgrade is small but meaningful: +10 PDD from a shield swap is the equivalent of a +3 armor scroll landing successfully. Cheaper than scrolling a Wooden Buckler further.

How to acquire

  • Random from Blackbull's House chain (L11): 50/50 with Wooden Buckler. If you rolled Steel Shield here, you skip the Wooden Buckler tier entirely.
  • Vendor: Perion general shop sells Steel Shield for 3,000 mesos.
  • Mob drops: uncommon L10-15 Perion area drops.

What's next after Steel Shield: higher- tier shields exist (Reinforced Shield L18, various named shields L20-30). Steel Shield is a natural bridge from L15 to L20-25 when you'll upgrade again.
