A set of tools that make smithing more convenient. Using it increases the amount of crafting skill EXP gained from smithing by 10% for 15 minutes.

Liven's take

Smithing Kit is a 15-minute buff consumable that adds 10% Smithing skill EXP to whatever crafting session you're running. It's the profession-XP equivalent of an EXP potion for combat leveling.

When to use:

  • Right before a long crafting session (30+ recipes queued).
  • When you're about to unlock a new tier of recipe and want to push through the last stretch of Smithing XP.
  • When ore prices in Free Market are low and you're bulk-crafting for resale.

Where it comes from: guaranteed reward from Silas Irons in Need of Help (L15 apprentice canonical). NPC price 100 mesos, but the quest gives you your first Kit for free.

Profession context - Blacksmithing: weapons, armor, shields. Warrior-favored discipline. Uses Bronze Ore + Iron Ore as tier 1-2 inputs.
