Mithril Ore is tier 3 in the Blacksmithing/ Weaponcrafting raw-ore hierarchy. The tier ladder:

  1. Bronze Ore (4010000) - tier 1
  2. Iron Ore (4010001) - tier 2
  3. Mithril Ore (4010002) - tier 3
  4. Adamantium Ore (4010003) - tier 4
  5. Silver Ore (4010004) - tier 5
  6. Orihalcon Ore (4010005) - tier 6
  7. Gold Ore (4010006) - tier 7 (precious)

40 mesos vendor price - 2x the price of Iron Ore, reflecting its higher tier.

What it makes

Mithril Ore smelts into Mithril Ingot (mid-tier refined ore), which feeds L20-30 weapon and armor recipes at Silas Irons's Blacksmithing and Mr. Thunder's Weaponcrafting workshops. Mithril armor recipes include mid-tier chest, helm, and shield upgrades.

Where it comes from

  • Quest rewards: Rowen's 50-Cursed-Doll quest (10201) awards 7x Mithril Ore as part of the base-ore grab-bag. Also drops in various other L30+ quest reward pools.
  • Mob drops: uncommon from L25-35 mobs in Sleepywood and Perion mountains.
  • Free Market: Blacksmithing crafters sell in bulk. FM prices usually 60-150 mesos each.
